Hosted in St. Andrews, NB and on Deer Island, NB, Lobster Academy™ offers a unique educational opportunity that bridges the production environment with the natural environment and connects buyers with communities. Specifically, Lobster Academy™ is dedicated to increasing the value of Homarus americanus worldwide through quality education and discovery for lobster buyers, importers and other industry opinion leaders.
East Coast Seafood/Paturel International will continue to offer a series of these inbound customer missions over the next several years. Lobster Academy combines lectures with facility tours/demonstrations, topics reflecting industry issues like traceability, sustainability certification, demand, pricing issues, processing, regulatory needs and marketing opportunities. Classes are kept to a maximum of 20 people and will continue to include representatives from domestic and international food service, retail, and distributors.
Lobster Academy™ is in its third year of successful operations and is a crucially important educational resource for our customers and anyone in the business of lobster. We hope that you will join us for the next one.
